Description

International Association of Merchant Seamen card is an internationally-recognized membership card that indicates that you are a sailor or a shipboard crew member and contains the person information, nationality, and the shipboard duties he or she is qualified for. This is not the Merchant Mariner's Document (MMD).

Seamen are civilian individuals who are employed on board commercially /or privately operated vessels. These seamen may be hired directly by the company operating the vessel or through a marine labor union.

Requirements

Complete the entire application.

- Provide a copy of the one the following.
- I-95
- Official identification that indicate that you are a sailor or a shipboard crew member,
- Proof of ownership of Vessel.
- Place a photo where it says “PHOTO” on the application.
- Make money order payable to USAID for $50.00.
- Please allow seven business days prior to receiving the Id’s.

How to use the ID

Return Policy

You may return the IAMS card issued by USAID SYSTEMS, INC within 30 days of delivery for a full refund less $8.00 for S&H.
